1. Purpose

The "Home" page is your introduction to the Flori Footprint Tool (FlorIT). It provides a clear overview of the tool's main functions and guides you towards the different sections for calculating and analyzing your environmental impact.

2. Navigation

• Data Calculation: This section allows you to input data related to various aspects of your business operations, such as commuting, energy consumption, waste generation, water usage, and more. By clicking on the "Data Calculation" card, you'll be directed to the data input forms where you can enter detailed information for each category, starting with commuting.
• Results Dashboard: This section presents a visual overview of your calculated environmental footprint. You can analyze your total impact, track progress over time, and compare your performance against industry and association benchmarks, if applied. Click on the "Results Dashboard" card to access your personalized reports and visualizations, starting with your Total Impact Dashboard, with an overview of the impact of all categories.
• Admin Dashboard (for Admin Users): If you have administrative privileges, you'll see an "Admin Dashboard" card. This section provides tools for managing user accounts, approving data, and analyzing overall performance at an organizational level.

3. Categories for Calculation

The "Home" page also provides a brief overview of the different categories available for calculating your environmental footprint. Each category is represented by an icon and a short description:

• Commuting: Calculate the impact of your employees' daily commutes to and from work, considering different modes of transport and distances traveled.
• Electricity: Input your electricity consumption data, including sources (grid, solar, etc.) and usage, to assess its environmental impact.
• Gas: Provide details about your gas consumption, including sources (natural gas, biogas) and usage in cubic meters.
• Waste: Calculate the impact of your waste generation by specifying the types and quantities of waste produced.
• Water: Assess your water usage impact by inputting your consumption data in cubic meters.
• Procurement: Calculate the impact of incoming transportation by providing details about delivery distances, modes of transport, and materials received.
• Refrigerants: Input the types and quantities of refrigerants used in your operations to assess their environmental impact.
• Deliveries: Calculate the impact of your outgoing transportation, including delivery distances, modes of transport, and number of deliveries.
• Packaging: Assess the environmental impact of your packaging materials by providing details about the types and quantities used.

4. What Happens Next?

Once you're familiar with the different sections and categories, you can start calculating your environmental footprint by clicking on the relevant cards. The "Home" page serves as a central hub, allowing you to easily navigate to different parts of the Flori Footprint Tool (FlorIT) and begin your sustainability journey.
