Results Dashboard

1. Purpose

The Results Dashboard provides a visual overview of your calculated environmental footprint. This interactive dashboard allows you to analyze your total impact, track your progress over time, and compare your performance against industry benchmarks.

2. Key Features

• Total Impact: The top section of the dashboard displays your total environmental impact in kilograms of CO2 equivalent (kg CO2-eq) for the selected year. This gives you a concise summary of your overall footprint.
• Impact Breakdown: A pie chart visually represents the contribution of different categories (e.g., Commuting, Electricity, Waste) to your total impact. This helps you understand which areas have the most significant environmental impact.
• Impact per Month: A bar chart illustrates your cumulative environmental impact per month for the selected year. This allows you to identify trends and seasonal variations in your footprint.
• Benchmark Comparisons: The dashboard includes benchmark comparisons to help you understand how your performance compares to industry averages and association averages (if applicable). These comparisons are shown for both impact per square meter and impact per euro sold.
• Interactive Elements: You can hover over pie chart segments and bar chart columns to view detailed information about specific categories and months.

3. Understanding the Charts

• Pie Chart: Each segment in the pie chart represents a category that contributes to your environmental footprint. The size of each segment corresponds to its proportional impact.
• Bar Chart: Each bar in the bar chart represents a month, and the height of the bar indicates the cumulative impact for that month.
• Benchmark Graphs: The benchmark graphs use bar charts to visually compare your impact per square meter and impact per euro sold against industry and association averages. This helps you see where you stand in relation to your peers.

Note: The benchmark graphs will only be displayed if you have included data on all categories, otherwise it is not possible to accurately compare total impacts. If you do not have data for all categories, please only refer to the benchmark graphs of the specific categories filled.

4. Using the Dashboard

• Select Year: Use the menu at the top to select the year for which you want to view results.
• Analyze the Charts: Review the pie chart and bar chart to understand your impact breakdown and monthly trends.
• Compare with Benchmarks: Analyze the benchmark graphs to see how your performance compares to industry and association averages.
• Identify Areas for Improvement: Based on the insights gained from the dashboard, identify areas where you can reduce your environmental impact and track your progress over time.
